Could I choose any panel brand that I would like to use on my house or does Solarponics have specific types of panels that they install? Are there any panel restrictions?
Solarponics, Inc. has the responsibility to stand behind all products sold to the customer for 10 years if a utility rebate is taken by the customer. This makes incumbent on Solarponics to pick brands of panels it feels are likely to be in business for the length of our warranty and better yet trying to find product manufacturer who will be in business for the 25 years that the panels are guaranteed for. The mounting systems we use pass our stringent quality standards to ensure that the panels will remain where they’re mounted for their expected productive lifetime, 25-50 years. So the long answer is, if you don’t want Solarponics to stand behind the products it installs for you for 10 years and have a favorite brand which is not on our approved list then we will be happy to purchase and install the system that you desire. However, all Solarponics will be able offer you is a workmanship warranty for the quality of the installation. You will be responsible to pursue recourse from that manufacturer if it does not produce its warranted power or has some other type of defect.
