Q: What are 'solar storms' and if I have a solar panels installed on my roof, should I be concerned about them?

A: Mary, Solar Storms are electro magnetic waves of energy released by the sun. These storms usually affect radio and tv signals, sometimes they can cause power outages. However these storms do not effect solar panels. I would not be concerned and I have had solar panels on my house for over 32 years.
