There is a new development on the horizon of a solar panel composed of nano-antennas instead of semiconductors. This new technology is promising a much higher conversion rate with increased efficiency and a lower material cost. What are your thoughts on this technology?

This is an interesting concept but still has a long way to go to provide a market ready product with the dependability of current technology. Time will tell and this is a rather young industry and the sky is the limit with new technology. However, the longevity and reliability of new technologies must be proven that they will do what they say and hold up to real world conditions.
