Solarponics’ owner and President, Mike Emrich, won a Green Award Monday, November 15 for his commitment to the advancement of cleaner energy. The third annual Green Awards  luncheon was hosted by the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce.

Solar Company Offers Program to Help More People Afford Solar Energy

Solarponics Energy Systems has teamed up with a lender to bring a leasing program to the Central Coast.  This program will help more people be able to afford installing solar panels on their homes.  The program allows most home owners to install a solar system with no money down.

J&J Cellars recently installed a solar system by Solarponics. The winery did it to save money on their energy bill and to move more towards “thinking green,” which is a new trend for many wineries. Central Coast wineries have been installing solar panels to promote sustainability and to save money in the down economy.
