Renewable Energy is a personally rewarding and fast-growing industry. The local leader in solar energy systems and energy management on the Central Coast is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team of passionate renewable energy professionals.

The Sales Executive is a full-time position responsible for establishing and tracking their own pipeline of customers, as well as assisting the sales manager with customer outreach, qualify leads, and tracking leads throughout the sale process. The Sales Executive works both in-house and in the field. The Sales Executive reports directly to the sales manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Outbound customer calling, tracking and follow up.

Identify sales prospects and contact these and other customers as assigned.

Identify and address client objectives.

Learn about and explain company products and services to potential clients.

Identify target neighborhoods for canvassing.

Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.

Compile and generate spreadsheets, presentations, summary reports.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in marketing events such as mixers, trade shows, and events.

Build sales pipeline via self-generated leads.

Additional customer service and sales tasks as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to persuade and influence others.

Ability to generate and present reports and presentations.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software.

High school diploma or equivalent. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Maintain a professional, respectful appearance and attitude.

Possession of a valid state drivers license. Work requires local travel.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule that will include some nights and weekends.

Use of personal vehicle is expected, with mileage re-imbursement.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires significant local commuting with up to 30% weekend and evening work. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Some long distant neighborhood walking may be required.

COMPENSATION

JOB: We are looking for several solar equipment installers, for full-time work. About 55% of our work is on residential rooftops, 20% ground mount systems, and 25% commercial job sites.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3-years experience in the construction trades, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and/or solar experience. ASSISTANT SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER

Job description and duties.

The ideal candidate will work in-house, be familiar with AutoCAD, and be proficient in Excel. Other basic program knowledge a plus.

Duties will be varied depending on projects being proposed or under construction and may include:• Site assessment and analysis both from on-site data collection and network tools •Site-specific production analysis of PV arrays using existing industry models • Develop specifications, collect data, and complete utility interconnection applications and county building permit applications • Develop PV system designs using computer aided drawing tools to show site layouts, electrical one and three line diagrams, and component installation details • Work with Project Management tools to coordinate task and construction schedules for construction staff and contractors.

Must have reliable transportation. Some travel to sites will be expected. Must be able to use basic tools, ladders and the ability to work on rooftops. The Solar Energy Systems Designer reports directly to the Design Manager.

Requirements:

• At least one year experience working directly in the building/construction field • Existing expertise and understanding of PV arrays and their electrical interconnections a plus • Excellent computer skills • US Citizen or have legal rights to work in the USA • Ability to work in a team as well as on self-directed independent projects • Ability to balance multiple projects with occasional tight deadlines • Solid understanding of the solar energy permitting process. • Clean driving record, background check and drug screening required
