If you have a SolarEdge inverter, you will loose (or may have already lost) online PV monitoring access capabilities unless you opt-in to upgrade to 4G. We recommend that everyone upgrade to 4G. Please note: Non monitor-enabled sites may be responsible to pay for on-site diagnostic service calls in the event of a system issue or disruption.

• All cellular 3G service in the U.S. is expiring as soon as April 1, 2022. Cell companies are upgrading their national system. Neither SolarEdge nor Solarponics are responsible for, nor in control of, these changes.

• Solar monitoring system access typically come with a 5-year cell card or a 12-year cell card, depending on make and model. The upgrade process is different, depending on which card you currently have installed. See below.

• Some networks discontinued 3G service on April 1, 2022. Others are discontinuing service in Q4, 2022.

If your cell service was a 5-year plan, you will receive communications from 365 Pronto, the service provider that will assist with your 4G monitoring access upgrade. 365 Pronto is a SolarEdge partner. If you choose not to upgrade your cell card, your system will still work, you will just not be able to monitor your system production. Upgraded 4G card is expected to cost around $525.

If your cell service was a 12-year plan,  you will receive communications from Solarponics. If you choose not to upgrade your cell card, your system will still work, you will just not be able to monitor your system production. Upgraded 4G card is expected to cost around $225.
