Job Description: Now hiring several solar equipment installers, for full-time work. About 55% of our work is on residential rooftops, 20% ground mount systems, and 25% commercial job sites. All installers have the opportunity to complete training to earn their electrical certification through Solarponics work training program.

Job Responsibilities: Must be familiar with the construction site environment, comfortable working around ladders and on various roof types, can use a shovel, have basic hand tools and can use a string line. We expect employees to be on time, and prepared to perform the best they can, every day.

The right candidate will have a desire to learn and grow, with a great regard for the quality of the craft. Installers will receive training in the renewable energy sector and toward earning electrical certification.

Pay: From $36,000/yr, plus training and benefits.

Level 1 Sales Associate - OPEN until filled.

Job description: The Sales Associate is a full-time position responsible for establishing and tracking customers, as well as assisting the sales manager with customer outreach, qualify leads, and tracking leads throughout the sale process. The Sales Associate works both in-house and in the field. The Sales Associate reports directly to the Sales Manager.

Job Requirements:

Outbound customer calling, tracking and follow up.

Identify sales prospects and contact these and other customers as assigned.

Identify and address client objectives.

Learn about and explain company products and services to potential clients.

Identify target neighborhoods for canvassing.

Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.

Additional Responsibilities:

Participate in marketing events such as mixers, trade shows, and events.

Compile and generate spreadsheets and summary reports.

Additional customer service and sales tasks as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to persuade and influence others

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Excellent reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Maintain a professional, respectful appearance and attitude.

Possession of a valid state drivers license. Work requires local travel.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule that will include some nights and weekends.

Use of personal vehicle is expected, with mileage reimbursement.

Working Conditions: Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires significant local commuting with up to 30% weekend and evening work. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Some long distant neighborhood walking may be required.

Who Will Succeed In This Position: A successful candidate will be outgoing, love working with people, and passionate about renewable energy, conservation, and resource management. Successful Sales Representatives are confident, conscientious, self-motivated, achievement-oriented, and not easily discouraged.

Compensation: DOE. Hourly plus commission and bonuses. $45,000/yr. to $200,000/yr.

Level 1 Service Repair Tech - Will Train: OPEN until filled.

Now hiring service technicians with up to three years experience to join our team. On the job training provided. 

Job Description: The ideal candidate will work in-house. Service tech will accompany a service manager on repair and light install projects on site. Once trained, the service tech will make service calls solo, and be responsible for problem resolution, timekeeping, and parts used. Must be comfortable working with and interacting with people, as some customer interaction is required.

Job Requirements:

  • Able to work at heights as well as access heights from a ladder.
  • Know how to use hand tools and specific related tools associated with solar panel cleaning and repair.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy weighted objects including materials and equipment.
  • Can identify safety hazards on project sites and take corrective measures to eliminate or reduce risks associated with those hazards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral communications with crew members, project managers, and more. The ability to listen is a critical aspect of communication.
  • Capable of taking constructive criticism and learning from mistakes.
  • Work well with others.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary duty to perform maintenance washing and cleaning of solar panels on rooftops and on ground-mount systems.
  • Inspect work sites to determine condition or necessary repairs.
  • Assist with repairs to existing solar energy systems.
  • Help the service team with install of radiant heating systems, water heating systems, and pool heating systems as needed.
  • Repair, maintain, and removal of existing solar energy arrays to prepare for new installation.
  • Maintain project sites in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Must be willing to work some overtime hours to complete time sensitive jobs as required.

Pay: From $45,000/yr DOE, plus training and benefits.

Job Description: Now hiring Certified and/or licensed  residential electricians to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, control equipment, and related electrical components for solar energy and storage related projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and management systems.
  • Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance.
  • Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
  • Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
  • Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
  • Completion of Certification Exam in California.
  • Experience working as an electrician.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair.
  • Can carry, lift, pull, and push up to 75 lbs.
  • Able to bend, climb, kneel, reach, and squat.
  • Experience in renewable energy field a plus.

Pay: $60-90k/YR  DOE, plus benefits
