The Sales Associate works both in-house and in the field. The Sales Associate reports directly to the Sales Manager.

Level 1 Service Coordinator- OPEN until filled

We are looking for a meticulous, detail-oriented Level 1 service coordinator to join our growing service department. This is a full-time, in-house position. Hours are 8:00AM to 4:30PM.

Job Overview

The service coordinator works closely with and under the direction of the service manager. Responsibilities include communicating with the service technicians, customers, and vendors. helping to plan services, and keeping records of the services offered.

To be successful as a service coordinator, you should be service-oriented with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be able to deal with our clients with a calm and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities for Service Coordinator

  • Scheduling appointments for clients, answering phones and tracking clients' service records.
  • Following up with clients regularly to assess and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Create and maintain a database of service clients.
  • Schedule all customer service calls, coordinating with service technician schedules.
  • Assure the service techs are kept informed of scheduling.
  • Insure parts arrive on time and are assigned to the correct service project.
  • Maintain good relationships with service providers.
  • Research and submit warranty claims for customers.
  • General office phone and clerical support.

Qualifications for Service Coordinator

  • 1-3 years of industry experience or a related customer service experience required.

Job Description: Now hiring Certified and/or licensed  residential electricians to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing wiring, control equipment, and related electrical components for solar energy and storage related projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and management systems.
  • Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance.
  • Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
  • Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
  • Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
  • Completion of Certification Exam in California.
  • Experience working as an electrician.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair.

Design Technicians - Level I, Level II - CLOSED

Job Description: The ideal candidate will work in-house, under the supervision of a design manager. Some experience in the construction project environment and proficiency in Excel is required.  

Duties will be varied depending on projects being proposed or under construction and may include:
• Site assessment and analysis both from on-site data collection and network tools.
• Site specific production analysis of PV arrays using existing industry models.
• Develop specifications, collect data, and complete utility interconnection applications
• Develop PV system designs using computer aided drawing tools to show site layouts, electrical one and three line diagrams, and component installation details.
• Work with Project Management tools to coordinate task and construction schedules for construction staff and contractors.

Level I Requirements & Qualifications: (OPEN)
• At least one years experience working directly in a similar field.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to work in a team as well as on self-directed independent projects.
• Ability to balance multiple projects with occasional tight deadlines.
• Some travel to sites will be expected.
• Clean driving record, background check and drug screening required.
• Must be able to use basic tools, ladders and the ability to work on rooftops.

• Entry level requirements PLUS: 
• Existing expertise and understanding of PV arrays and their electrical interconnections.
• Can use AutoCaD and Design Tools to produce a plan set with minimal assistance from  lead designer or design manager.
• Ability to complete a site evaluation and gather necessary information for most design projects.
• Basic NEC Code knowledge.

Lead Designer Requirements & Qualifications: (OPEN)
• Entry and mid level requirements PLUS: 
• Certified Drone-Pilot.

Service Repair Tech, Entry Level - Will Train: OPEN until filled.

Now hiring Service technicians to join our team. On the job training provided. 

Job Description: The ideal candidate will work in-house. Service tech will accompany a service manager on repair and light install projects on site. Once trained, the service tech will make service calls solo, and be responsible for problem resolution, timekeeping, and parts used. Must be comfortable working with and interacting with people, as some customer interaction is required.

Job Requirements:

  • Able to work at heights as well as access heights from a ladder.
  • Know how to use hand tools and specific related tools associated with solar panel cleaning and repair.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy weighted objects including materials and equipment.
  • Can identify safety hazards on project sites and take corrective measures to eliminate or reduce risks associated with those hazards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral communications with crew members, project managers, and more. The ability to listen is a critical aspect of communication.
  • Capable of taking constructive criticism and learning from mistakes.
  • Work well with others.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary duty to perform maintenance washing and cleaning of solar panels on rooftops and on ground-mount systems.
  • Inspect work sites to determine condition or necessary repairs.
  • Assist with repairs to existing solar energy systems.
  • Help the service team with install of radiant heating systems, water heating systems, and pool heating systems as needed.
  • Repair, maintain, and removal of existing solar energy arrays to prepare for new installation.
  • Maintain project sites in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Must be willing to work some overtime hours to complete time sensitive jobs as required.

Heavy Equipment Operator - CLOSED

Job Description: Now hiring Heavy Equipment Operator(s) to join our team. This position is responsible for leading our dirt work team in successfully constructing solar ground mount structures and underground infrastructure on both residential and commercial projects, as well as operating and maintaining the team's tools and heavy equipment. This is a full time position with competitive wages, benefits, and bonus opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:
- Successfully reading, interpreting, and applying plan sets to a job site
- Coordinating with the customer, foreman, and other crew members throughout the project
- Assessing and acquiring required materials to complete a project
- Operating company owned skid steer and mini excavator, or any other piece of heavy equipment rented for a job
- Maintenance coordination and record keeping for company truck, trailer, tools, and machinery
- Communicating and directing other employees assigned to the dirt work team, including scheduling, reviews, praise, and disciplinary actions
- Ensuring a safe, efficient, and code compliant installation for each project

Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum of two years (or 2000hrs) of heavy equipment operation experience (must prove experience)
Strong leadership and communications skills
Must be driven and self motivated, with a constant desire to learn and do the right thing always
Experience working alone and being in charge of projects
Valid driver's license. (Class A preferred)
