JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for several solar equipment installers, for full-time work. About 55% of our work is on residential rooftops, 20% ground mount systems, and 25% commercial job sites.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be familiar with the construction site environment, comfortable working around ladders and on various roof types, can use a shovel, have basic hand tools and can use a string line. We expect employees to be on time, and prepared to perform the best they can, every day.

The right candidate will have a desire to learn and grow, with a great regard for the quality of the craft. Selected candidates will receive excellent job skills training in the renewable energy sector.

PAY: Starting at $14/hour and up, DOE, includes training and benefits.

Renewable Energy is a personally rewarding and fast-growing industry. The local leader in solar energy systems and energy management on the Central Coast is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team of passionate renewable energy professionals.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Sales Executive is a full-time position responsible for establishing and tracking their own pipeline of customers, as well as assisting the sales manager with customer outreach, qualify leads, and tracking leads throughout the sale process. The Sales Executive works both in-house and in the field. The Sales Executive reports directly to the sales manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Outbound customer calling, tracking and follow up.

Identify sales prospects and contact these and other customers as assigned.

Identify and address client objectives.

Learn about and explain company products and services to potential clients.

Identify target neighborhoods for canvassing.

Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.

Compile and generate spreadsheets, presentations, summary reports.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in marketing events such as mixers, trade shows, and events.

Build sales pipeline via self-generated leads.

Additional customer service and sales tasks as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to persuade and influence others.

Ability to generate and present reports and presentations.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software.

High school diploma or equivalent. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.

Maintain a professional, respectful appearance and attitude.

Possession of a valid state drivers license. Work requires local travel.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule that will include some nights and weekends.

Use of personal vehicle is expected, with mileage re-imbursement.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires significant local commuting with up to 30% weekend and evening work. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Some long distant neighborhood walking may be required.

COMPENSATION

DOE. Hourly plus commission and bonuses. An active salesperson can make over $100,000/year at Solarponics

SERVICE TECHNICIAN / PLUMBING

JOB DESCRIPTION: In this position, the service tech will be responsible for all aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation and repair of renewable energy systems in our commercial and residential buildings.   • Perform routine maintenance of solar and plumbing systems in residential and commercial applications

  • Install plumbing systems including solar pool heating, solar water heating, and radiant heating and cooling systems

  • Trouble shoot and repair plumbing systems including solar pool heating, solar water heating, and radiant heating and cooling systems

  • Communicating with customers upon arrival and completion of work, ensuring customer satisfaction with service

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:

High School Diploma or GED required. Associates dregree and/or professional accrediation a plus.

ONE+ year(s) technical and trade experience required

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Ability to pass a background check, drug scren and DMV check

Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools

JOB DESCRIPTION: Administrative Assistant duties and responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. Supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
