Make A Positive Difference Every Day.

Make A Positive Difference Every Day.

ATASCADERO, CA., 03118 – Mike Emrich founded Solarponics in 1975 with a single, clear mission; to make a positive difference every day by installing solar water heating in every compatible home on the Central Coast. Solarponics mission alone, did not clearly communicate to employees and customers exactly how Solarponics goes about achieving their mission. Thus our Vision and Commitment was added, helping guide the company in its second generation of ownership. Every employee stands behind our mission, as well as our vision and commitment statements. This is what guides our every day actions.

Our Mission is to help Central Coast residents achieve energy independence, save money, and enrich their lives. We achieve this with the highest quality service, products, integrity and respect.

Our Commitment is to continue to pursue and adopt better resource management practices; to be an educational resource on environmental stewardship, and to always do the right thing, by our neighbors, our communities, and our planet.

Our Vision is to see energy and resource management systems in and on every building and residence on the Central Coast, leading to a net-zero total resource consumption.

Our Philosophy is simple. Be kind. Live local. Work hard. Consume less. Respect others. Make positive difference every day.
